I was a little late getting to the property on the designated time but the lady at the reception was really kind and assured me not to panic. The lady (short dark hair) even carried my really heavy suitcase up the three flights of stairs! The gentle men who worked behind the desk Also leant me a hairdryer free of charge! There was also another behind the desk who was very lind and let me sit in the little staff area whilst I was waiting for my train hime after checkout time. Room and bathroom very clean. I loved the original parquet flooring and beautiful traditional rugs! Windows looked original feature of this period property and were huge! Which was lovely. I was very close to the market square (about 5-10 mins walk if that) also, the square where the entrance to the guesthouse is located has many great restaurants and a couple of bars and across the way is a fabulous theatre! I recommend any one of them but I only had time to try Morskie Oko and Restauraucja Traditional I think it was called. I also went to the milkbar for breakfast pancakes which was lovely, cheap and packed! And cafe Europesjska was glamorous with excellent service and nice food if on the pricier side for breakfast because of being on the market square.

Great location! Set off Plac Szczepanski in the Old Town of Krakow. Although just a 5 minute walk from Rynek Glowny, the main square, the area was a lot quieter. Other sites in close proximity were the Barbakan and Florian's Gate. On the other side of the Planty (park surrounding the old town) you have a convenient tram stop at Teatr Bagatela and were a 5 minute walk to the old fruit and veg market at Stary Kleparz. Also some great cafes and bars locally if you didn't want to venture to the main square at night and a couple of small supermarkets nearby too. The accommodation itself was full of character - possibly once old apartments and the room although a little dated was large and had most needs covered. Kettle & tea / coffee, extra blankets No safe, although you could leave valuables at reception and no fridge in the room, but a communal one on the 2nd floor landing. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Amazing location. Friendly and helpful staff on check in, even though as we arrived after midnight. Extremely helpful with answering any questions prior to our arrival. Had everything we needed, including flannels, towels and shower gel. Very clean and comfortable beds. Great price and felt very authentic as we wanted to experience traditional accommodation rather than stay in a chain and so pleased we did as it all added to the experience. We didn’t actually spend any time at the guesthouse apart from sleeping there so can’t really comment on any other facilities. It was perfect for our needs and we felt very safe there.

- The guest house is located in the old town of Krakow, and it’s pretty busy at night outside. But because the guest house is in a backyard, it remains quite and peaceful. - The garden makes it seem like you enter a fairytale. - The reception is really eager and helpful with sightseeing in Krakow and do recommend places to see and visit, and where to eat and drink! - The guest house and the rooms has a real polish and homey feel to it. It may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but it’s definitely worth it when visiting Krakow to stay here. - Big and spacious rooms with okey bathrooms.

We had a large group booking which changed a few times before pay/check in and the hotel were really helpful in sorting everything out, after a few initial issues. They offered and came through with a Airport transfer for the whole group which was easy to sort and then find at the aiport. Rooms were fine for what they were needed for, larger group saw us split up a bit but no issues with that. Reccs on local bar- Up towards the main square- was a great bit too. Will definitely return book when next in town.
